Il ristorante tailandese Ping Pong a Brisbane, in Australia, è caratterizzato da un menu divertente e da interni iper-rosa. Lo studio Derlot è stato incaricato di tutti gli aspetti del design, compresi gli interni, i mobili su misura, lighting e branding.
La parte principale del ristorante è una vera e propria festa sensoriale, con oltre 300 lampade a sospensione sferiche che evidenziano i dettagli effervescenti sia dei piatti che degli spazi.
Il rosa shocking è stato selezionato attentamente, in chiave personalizzata, e applicato a ogni elemento d’arredo e di finitura: le sedie Picket, i tessuti, la tinteggiatura delle pareti e la resina del pavimento.
A quell’esperienza monocolore si contrappone la sala Jungle, giocata sui toni del verde, sulle stampe vegetali e sulle luci basse. Essa rappresenta la “zona tranquilla” per i commensali: nascosta dalla vista principale, una zona-pranzo segreta.

The main part of the restaurant is a real sensory feast, with over 300 spherical pendant lamps that highlight the effervescent details of both the dishes and the spaces.
The shocking pink was carefully selected, in a personalized way, and applied to every furnishing and finishing element: the Picket chairs, the fabrics, the painting of the walls and the resin of the floor.
The Jungle room contrasts with that one-color experience, played on shades of green, plant prints and low lights. It represents the “quiet zone” for diners: hidden from the main view, a secret dining area.
