INTERIOR | ROBERTO BACIOCCHI

L’architetto Roberto Baciocchi, autore delle boutique Prada in tutto il mondo, vive in un’antica casa ad Arezzo. L’architettura originale, arredata con elementi che abbracciano oltre tre secoli, è contraddistinta da finiture sofisticate e sottili, che dialogano con l’affascinante patina dell’edificio.

Tuttavia, il tema di principale interesse riguarda le applicazioni cromatiche delle pareti e dell’arredo. Baciocchi opta per colori audaci ma non violenti: ogni tinta si amalgama con le preesistenze grazie a superfici leggermente disomogenee e chiazzate, che disegnano forme asimmetriche. Questi colori… decolorati trascinano l’occhio verso i soffitti affrescati o a cassettoni, dato che le stanze sono molto alte.

Una arco stilistico e cromatico decisamente ampio ma capace di approdare a una sintesi coerente e originale.

The original architecture, furnished with elements spanning over three centuries, is characterized by sophisticated and subtle finishes, which interact with the fascinating patina of the building.

However, the theme of main interest concerns the chromatic applications of the walls and furnishings. Baciocchi opts for bold but non-violent colors: each color blends with the pre-existing ones through to slightly uneven and mottled surfaces, which draw asymmetrical shapes. These colors… bleached draw the eye towards the frescoed or coffered ceilings, since the rooms are very high.

A decidedly wide stylistic and chromatic arc but capable of arriving at a coherent and original synthesis.
